Martin Brown Named General Manager for Belle of Baton Rouge

August 4, 2016 (Baton Rouge, LA) – Gaming and hospitality industry leader Tropicana Entertainment Inc. announced today the promotion of Martin Brown to the position of General Manager for Belle of Baton Rouge. Mr. Brown will oversee all business operations at the riverboat resort.


Mr. Brown joined the Belle of Baton Rouge family in February of 2002 as a Casino Shift Manager. In 2007, he was named Director of Table Games, a position he held for six years, and was promoted to Director of Casino Operations in February of 2013.  Mr. Brown has most recently been Acting General Manager, maintaining guest satisfaction, operational stability and employee morale during the management transition.

Mr. Brown attended Southeastern Louisiana University, in Hammond, LA, where his academic achievements earned him a place on the National Dean’s List and in the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society. He currently resides in Port Allen, LA.
